The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted full accreditation to 22 undergraduate programs at Adeleke University, Ede, Osun State, following its rigorous October/December 2025 exercise.
This approval, detailed in a letter signed by Accreditation Director Abraham Chundusu on behalf of the NUC Executive Secretary, came after thorough evaluations of the university’s human resources and facilities by the NUC team.
Prof. Solomon Adebola, the university’s Vice-Chancellor, announced the development during a recent community meeting. The accredited programs—spanning Finance, Office and Information Management, Public Administration, Nursing Science, English Language and Literary Studies, Religious Studies, History and International Studies, Mass Communication, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Food Science and Nutrition—carry a 5year validity.
Additionally, the NUC has recently approved two new programs for the university: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in the Faculty of Health Sciences, and Doctor of Pharmacy (D.Pharm) in the Faculty of Pharmacy.
Prof. Adebola praised staff dedication in aligning with the university’s motto of Education, Excellence, and Character.
