The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) praised the Zamfara State government for the advancements in constructing Gusau Airport.

NCAA Director Ahmad Abba shared this approval during an on-site inspection in Gusau, where he was welcomed by the State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Lawal Barau Bungudu. He inspected major project areas and received updates on completed and ongoing work.

Abba voiced contentment with the construction quality and progress, highlighting strong adherence to national aviation standards. He praised the site’s professionalism as evidence of Governor Dauda Lawal’s dedication to state infrastructure.

The director also lauded the governor and commissioner for their diligent oversight, ensuring regulatory compliance. He noted the project’s trajectory points to timely completion and readiness for operations.

Accompanying the team were Permanent Secretary Haruna Dikko Gusau, Special Adviser on Infrastructure Ibrahim Musa Agigi, ministry directors, and other officials who delivered technical insights.

Abba pledged the NCAA’s ongoing assistance to help the airport achieve full operational compliance.
