The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) reports that 37 vessels carrying petroleum products, foodstuffs and other cargoes are scheduled to call at Lagos ports — Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea Port and Tincan Island — on Tuesday.
In its Daily Shipping Position, the NPA said those ships are expected between 16 and 23 June. 13 of the incoming vessels are container ships, while the remaining 24 are loaded with items including frozen fish, bulk urea, petrol, condensate, bulk sugar, general cargo, aviation fuel, bulk wheat, diesel and crude oil.
The authority adds that 8 ships and tankers have already arrived at the 3 ports and are awaiting berths; their cargoes include containers, general goods, gasoline, aviation fuel, petrol, bulk fertilizer, diesel and crude oil.
Across Lekki Deep Sea Port, Apapa and Tincan Island, NPA also reports that 19 vessels are currently offloading shipments such as bulk urea, containers, petrol, frozen fish, bulk gypsum, bulk sugar, bulk wheat, a tug/rug boat, and bulk gas.
