The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has inaugurated an Innovation and Digital Services Unit to accelerate its shift toward a fully paperless organization and modernize delivery of corporate registration and regulatory services nationwide.

Commissioning the unit, CAC Registrar General & CEO, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji said the move supports Item 7 of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda by promoting industrialization, digitization, manufacturing, innovation and the creative industries. He described the CAC as a leader in digitizing public-service delivery and said the new unit marks a significant step in eliminating paper-based processes and boosting operational efficiency. Magaji charged the Innovation and Digital Services Unit with ensuring that every CAC state office adopts the commission’s paperless and digitization strategy.

Speaking for the team, Mohammed Abdullahi welcomed the establishment of the unit, praised the Registrar‑General for the initiative and promised the unit’s full commitment to its mandate. The launch forms part of the CAC’s broader digital transformation agenda, which aims to leverage technology to improve public service delivery, speed up transactions and provide more seamless services to businesses and citizens across Nigeria.
